December in Greece – about us in OFF-ROAD magazine

abroad for the holidays, in a car with a tent, is a crazy idea, what do family and friends think? However, sometimes the desire to rest and reset can be so strong that the time for the trip will not matter. Greece is all the more inviting at this time – little traffic, a small number of tourists, pleasant weather and a Mediterranean climate.

In December, the temperature in Greece oscillates between 15-19 degrees during the day, around 10 at night, and best of all, the water is still pleasant and around 20 degrees. Add to this the numerous ancient ruins, the clear blue sea, charming islands and interesting culture, a holiday in Greece is a perfect plan. That is why we chose this destination for our trip. At first, I thought that this crazy idea would not work. How would the family react, but in the end we decided to try – and we did. A trip during such an important holiday in Poland was initially reluctantly accepted by the closest ones – after all, this is a time that „should” be spent at home, preparing Christmas Eve dinner together, wrapping presents and decorating the Christmas tree, but we wanted to do something different, unusual and somewhat crazy. Goodbye couch and Home Alone! …
