Memories from the Family 4×4 Expedition to the Bieszczady Mountains: An Unforgettable Adventure

May morning in Krakow promised sunny weather and a unique adventure. Together with my family and our Landrover Discovery, we set off on a four-day expedition with Family 4×4 through the picturesque areas of the Bieszczady and Beskid Niski. What we experienced will forever remain in our hearts as one of the greatest family experiences.

Day 1: Start in Polańczyk

It all started on May 16, when we met other participants in Polańczyk. The atmosphere was warm from the start, and the organizers – a family of four full of passion for adventure – welcomed us with a smile. After a short introduction and a discussion of the day’s plan, we set off towards the first stop.

The route took us along some lovely forest roads. The children were delighted to ride through muddy paths and cross small streams. In the evening we set up camp and enjoyed a campfire, singing songs and telling stories.

Dzień 2: Kuźnia i Nocne Poszukiwania

The next day began with a visit to a local forge, where the children had the opportunity to try their hand at blacksmithing. Each child was enthusiastic about creating their own little works of art. In the afternoon, there were workshops on searching for night owls. A trip to the forest with flashlights was a fascinating adventure for the youngest. Although we didn’t manage to see any owls, the excitement of the search was priceless.

Day 3: Scenic Hikes and Surprises

The third day was full of surprises. We were taken to mysterious places that were not on the plan. We discovered the beauty of the mountain pastures and enjoyed the panoramic views of the mountains. For those willing, a sunrise was organized on one of the mountain pastures, which turned out to be a magical experience. A walk at dawn, when the whole world comes to life, will remain in our memories for a long time.

In the evening, another bonfire awaited us, this time with sausages and more surprises for the youngest. The organizers took care of every moment, creating a unique atmosphere of family integration.

Day 4: Final in Komańcza

The last day of our expedition ended near Komańcza. On the one hand, we felt sadness that our adventure was coming to an end, on the other – great satisfaction and joy from the moments we had experienced. Saying goodbye to new friends was difficult, but we exchanged contacts, hoping for more joint expeditions.

Reflections after the Expedition

This four-day expedition with Family 4×4 was more than just a journey through the Bieszczady and Beskid Niski mountains. It was an amazing opportunity to strengthen family ties, learn new skills and discover the beauty of Polish nature. Thanks to the excellent organization and warm atmosphere, each of us felt part of something special.

The organizers – a family in love with travel and adventure – shared their passion, which made every moment full of authentic emotions. Their experience and commitment to creating an unforgettable atmosphere were visible at every step.
