Toyota Off-Road Festival 2024: A Great Meeting of Off-Road Driving Enthusiasts

Toyota Off-Road Festival 2024: A Great Meeting of Off-Road Driving Enthusiasts

The ninth edition of the Toyota Off-Road Festival is behind us, and once again it attracted Toyota off-road enthusiasts from all over the country, as well as guests from abroad. This year’s event took place in the picturesque scenery of Masuria, near the village of Bogusze, not far from Grajewo, at a camping site by Lake Toczyłowo.

Record Attendance and Diversity

This year, the festival attracted 114 crews, most of whom were owners of different generations of Land Cruisers. Crews from Poland and guests from Hungary came to the Leśna Polana campsite in Bogusze, which emphasizes the international nature of this event. Land Cruiser models dominated, especially the J15 (17 cars) and J12 (15 cars), as well as Hiluxes (11 cars). The rally base also featured less common models, such as the 4Runner and FJ Cruiser. In total, including exhibitors’ cars, the Hiluxes were the most numerous – 20 units. There was also no shortage of iconic Land Cruisers J7 and J10, each of these models represented by 10 cars. An interesting fact is also the participation of 16 vehicles of other brands, which shows the festival’s openness to diversity.

Camping Among the Trees

For four years, the rally base has been changing its location. After five editions on the Autodrom4x4 grounds near Poznań, club members have already visited Lower Silesia, Pomerania, the Low Beskids, and this year Masuria. The hosts of the Leśna Polana campsite in Bogusze have prepared ideal conditions for camping. The place located on Lake Toczyłowo offers a beach, a bar, a playground for children, camping cabins and plenty of space for camping among trees that provide pleasant shade on sunny days. Participants could enjoy the charms of nature and spend time in comfortable conditions.

Attractions and Activities

Toyota Off-Road Festival is not only a static exhibition of cars, but above all an active off-road experience. Participants had the opportunity to take part in tourist rides with guides or independently, using a classic roadbook. In total, there were almost 400 km of off-road trails to ride, which provided many emotions and challenges. The guides this year were Wojtek Ziemak (BezAsfaltu4x4), Jacek Iskra (Rayo Offroad Centrum) and Mariusz Pietrzycki (Podróże4x4).

For those who wanted to test their skills and the capabilities of their vehicles, the organizers prepared a special off-road trail. Despite the dry weather, the route was demanding and in one place it was necessary to use a winch. Crews earned stamps, which added a rivalry element known from classic cross-country rallies.

Expo Zone and Fun for the Youngest

One of the key elements of the festival was the extensive expo zone, which enjoyed great interest among the participants. The most important companies from the Polish off-road scene, such as Steeler4x4, Rayo Offroad Centrum, BezAsfaltu4x4, MorE4x4, Offlander and MudKiller, presented their stands. The show cars, mainly expedition Hiluxes, were impressive and ready to immediately set off on an expedition around the world.

The festival also took care of the youngest participants, organizing various games for them, such as face painting, culinary workshops, a treasure hunt, and a night cinema with popcorn. The Mobile Bicycle Service organized additional workshops on repairing bicycle inner tubes. For adults, there were meetings with Wojtek Ziemak, who talked about traveling in an off-road vehicle, and Michał Emsi Horodeński, who recalled his start in the Dakar Classic 2024 rally. Evening feasts by the bonfire were a great ending to each day of the rally.

The Future of the Festival

Years pass, and Toyota Off-Road Festival develops and evolves. Next year will be the jubilee, tenth edition of the festival, which promises to be exceptional. The date is already known – June 12-15, 2025, and details about the location will be announced soon. We invite you to participate and follow the preparations for this unique event. Toyota Off-Road Festival is a place where passion meets adventure, and technology meets nature. See you on the route!
